Theme:

San Francisco 49ers

Decorations & Snacks:

Have a card table decorated for each major character. Don't feel like you have to have all the tables. These are just ideas.

  • Johnny's table - Cover with green or brown felt if you have it. Bottles of sparkling cider or grape juice. Scatter with poker chips, cards and foil-wrapped chocolate "gold pieces."

  • Rachel's table - Surround with potted plants or trees. Cover with red-checked or other picnic-type cloth. Hang a sunbonnet off the front. Serve any casual finger-snacks such as fresh vegetables. Scatter table with rubber insects.

  • Lissa's table - Draped in lace or other elegant covering. Serve a small decorated cake or candies.

  • Miner's table - This table is for the glasses, plates and napkins. Cover with newspaper. Metal pail with ice, paper plates, napkins and a big, crudely lettered sign in thick, black marker that says, "No Bonnets Allowed."
