Here are some suggestions for fun food & activities your book club can do when you discuss Deep in the Heart of Trouble.

Cover tables with red-checked picnic cloths. Serve snacks in boxes with a bit of ribbon tied to the handle. Chinese food take-out boxes are perfect for this. Include an apple, a cookie, a colorful napkin and a juice box or other similar picnic food.
