It Won't Be Long Now!

Look what came in the mail! The hardcover and softcover of A BRIDE IN THE BARGAIN.  When these come off the press, they grab one of each for me and stick them in the mail so I can see them.  And when that happens, that means they are boxing up the rest of them and shipping them out.

It still takes a while for the books to get where they need to go and for the distributors to log them in, then dispurse them yet again. And then the bookstores have to unpack the boxes and put them on the shelves.  Still, I'm thinking they'll start showing up within a couple of weeks.  That's my best guess. But I, of course, have no control over that at all!

It's always such a treat to see the book in its actual form with all the chapter headings and curly-cues and stuff.  They did some graphics on the back cover of the book this time, which I love.  Anyhoo, we'll keep doing the ARC giveaway, but I'm thinking it won't be long now before you'll be able to get your own copy!

Speaking of the ARC giveaway, the winner of our ARC for the week of April 27th was Bekie from Morgantown, West Virginia. Congrats, Bekie! Last week's winner is currently being notified. So now we start all over again.

If you want a chance to win an ARC (Advanced Reading Copy) of my May release, A Bride in the Bargain, then leave a comment here on my blog between now (May 4) and Sunday (May 10).  We'll pick a new winner on Monday (May 11) and then go for another round.  So, be sure to check in again and good luck!

***

P.S. I'm over at Bustles and Spurs today (May 4). Go there to see pics of the annual Gist Crawfish Boil!

Okay. There has gotta be a secret. Something I simply dont know. Is there a special password? A button you have to hit? A box you have to check? Im getting a bit sad now. I simply have no luck here! How many weeks have I been at this (counting last years contest too!)? Fervently praying that the ARC faries would smile upon me. Maybe they are not faries, but gnomes! And this is why they will not allow me to obtain an ARC! Or trolls!? Could they be trolls? I didnt think trolls things gave away. And especially not things that are as valueble as ARCs. Well, Dee (or really anyone who knows how to get in contact with them), I simply do not know, but I must hope for your favor and ask that you speak to these mythical creatures for me. Heres to hoping that oen of them will take pity on me!

Thanks, girls! And, oh, Abby. I promise it's not a conspiracy! I just enter the dates, then click a little button that says "Pick contest winner"and up pops a name. It really and truly is completely random. But, don't be sad. The real deal will be out soon!

ABBY...ABBY...ABBY...there are NOOOOO mythical creatures who bring you great gifts like an ARC of Mz Dee's new book. I know this cause I asked my special friend about it and Santa said you'll just have to hope and pray that the computer likes ya! CONGRATS Bekie...you must be living right for the Good Lord has shined on you this week...enjoy your ARC!!!

I cannot wait to get my hands on this book!! The hardest part for me is that I always read your books way too quickly as they are all so well written and I can't put them down ; ) I will start checking and hoping it shows up soon in Michigan. God Bless~ http://thebridenbunch.blogspot.com

The cover looks great and I know that the story will be just as wonderful as the rest of Dee's books that I love! I would be happy to be added to the contest to win an early copy... thanks a bunch!

Don't feel bad, Abby. I haven't won either. I just found Dee's books and blog this year, but still, it's not like there are 100+ entries each time. It's actually a pretty fair shot compared with some contests I enter on other blogs! Maybe that's why I'm able to keep up hope to possibly win eventually. ;)

ABBY...ABBY...ABBY...confession is good for the soul...we ALL know that it was you who messed up the chatroom...and the computer has a memory like an elephant...if it was ME as you say who messed it up...why then did the puter pick me,not once, but TWO times? I think it is interesting that you claim to know Santa on a personal level...he doesn't usually hang around people who confess to messing up chatrooms and blaming it on his close personal friend. Why Santa and I have been buds since before you were born. I used to walk to his house, in the snow....uphill...both ways...LOL!!! I tell ya what ABBY...if Mz Dee picks my name again...you can have it. Santa would want me to be nice this year...don't want to be on the bad list.

I've read all your books and have loved all of them. But this one... wow! It kept me on my toes until the last three pages... Unbelievable, everyone! It's a MUST.
